WEEK 12
At the end of this chapter it is said that Commander Cudgeon has been given a spine transplant. What does that mean? That he had a spine transplant means that his spine has been taken off and had another one being put on his back.
Is Cudgeon being brave when he says he is going to talk to the reptiles or not?
In the soldiers point of view he is brave or not so intelligent :/ to go talk to the reptiles.
That is the literal meaning of it, but there is also a figurative meaning.See if you can work it out. Why do you think the soldiers might have thought this un unintelligent move on his part?
